Nose Work — Scent Work

Nose Work (also called Scent Work) is a fun, confidence‑building class that taps into your dog’s natural hunting and sniffing instincts. Dogs learn to search for specific target odors (like birch, anise, or clove) in boxes, on objects, and around different environments, using only their nose to “solve the puzzle.”

Our Nose Work classes focus on:

• Building your dog’s confidence in new spaces and around new objects
• Strengthening the bond between you and your dog through teamwork
• Providing mental enrichment that helps tire out even high‑energy dogs
• Teaching clear, easy‑to-read “alert” behaviors when they find the scent

Nose Work is suitable for all breeds and most temperaments, including shy, energetic, or previously reactive dogs, since dogs work one at a time and the sport is low‑impact and stress‑reducing.
